Viscera- the organs within the Thoracic and Abdominopelvic Cavities
Mediastinum- separates the thorax into two compartments that contain the left and right lungs; heart, esophagus, trachea, and thymus gland are located here

Most anterior cavity; made up of the Thoracic Cavity, Pericardial Cavity, Abdominal Cavity, Pelvic Cavity, and Abdominopelvic Cavity Brain Spine and surrounding vertebrae Lungs, mediastinum, heart, esophagus, trachea, thymus gland Found within the Thoracic Cavity; houses the heart Stomach, liver, spleen, gallbladder, small and large intestines Terminal end of the large intestine, urinary bladder, internal reproductive organs Made up of the Abdominal and Pelvic Cavities |
